Ketamine Asssited Psychotherapy (KAP) is increasingly being used as a treatment tool for various chronic treatment resistant mental and emotional conditions , often used after  other treatment approaches have not been successful, or in conjunction with regular psychotherapy.  Research suggests that Ketamine may help grow new neural  connections once diminished by stress, leaving many people feeling relief. People can experience an anxiolytic (anxiety reducing), antidepressant effects which can have a cumulative effect, that is, it's more sustained with repeated use. I work closely with a medical provider who prescribes the medicine directly to my client and we do KAP sessions in person in my office in Manhattan.
